Question: I want to ask why water is shaped like a ball when it is in space without gravity?

When a drop of water is orbiting the Earth in space, the outside forces acting on it are negligible. The surface tension in the water acts to minimize the surface area of the water. Hence when a body of water is free to choose any shape that minimizes the surface area, it will form a sphere.
